Where does time go? The October half-term break has come and gone and schools are already settling into the second half of the autumn term.

Last month, Broadhempston Primary School enjoyed a day-long workshop of mosaic-making led by Daisi-registered artist Monica Shanta. The whole school of 45 pupils were involved.  Broadhempston has a new class structure with new class names - Otters and Kingfishers - and the new school mosaic will be displayed later this month at the school’s entrance to reflect these names.

Supported by funding from The Helen Foundation, this ambitious workshop will result in an impressive work of young people’s art for Broadhempston. More details and photos next month!
