Artist Cara Roxanne led a workshop funded by The Helen Foundation at Chudleigh Primary, with with Yr 4 children. The aim was to have the young people mix a range of colours, understand the way that different marks can be made with different brushes, and how they can use their own and others' work to inspire stories.

The children said:

"I found out that I like painting with watercolours from the tubes. It was a really hard challenge making the colours I like." Seb

"I enjoy not thinking about the end product and the outcome." Lilli " I love that I can do really good artwork. I also doubted that you could make anything out of shapes." Isla
