TEIGNMOUTH COMMUNITY SCHOOL - KEZIA AND JENNIFER WIN TOP PRIZES!

Inspired by a visit to the Eden Project, arts students from Teignmouth Community School enjoyed a 2-day workshop, fully fundedProject by THF, and led by artist Sarah Morris. Students had taken photographs while on their visit to Eden and Sarah taught them lino cut and printing techniques. The Rotary Club of Teignmouth generously sponsored a competition for the artwork and photography produced, with Kezia German winning the photography competition for her remarkable picture of a sheep, and Jennifer Donnelly winning the print competition with her lovely print inspired by the Eden Project. The work produced by the students will be on show at the Performing Arts Centre in TCS later this month, having been on public display in both Pavilions, Teignmouth and St Peter’s Church, Shaldon.
