Late last month just before the Easter break, THF trustees Annie and Roger Kirk along with Kate and Darren Philp attended a very special night of music at South Dartmoor Community College. This was the first fruits of the Ella Philp Fund (EPA) , set up in memory of Kate and Darren's daughter Ella, who - aged just 19 - tragically died after a short illness while at university. The EPA provides funds to support schools in Teignbridge who wish to mount performances, especially musical drama, Ella's favourite! We will publish a fuller report of the evening next month, after the students have returned to college. It was a wonderful evening.
