Did you miss out on getting tickets for their fantastic hometown gigs on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September at The Den in Teignmouth, Devon?

The Muse band members (Matt, Chris and Dom) are Patrons of the Foundation and have very generously donated 32 exclusively signed tickets to go and see them play live at The Den, Teignmouth to be auctioned to the highest bidders with all money raised going to The Helen Foundation – 8 pairs of tickets for Friday 4th September and 8 pairs of tickets for Saturday 5th September. Please note that the prize does not include any travel, accommodation, spending money or other benefits – it is for the exclusively signed tickets and entry to the Muse show only.
The pairs of signed tickets will go to the highest bidders.

Charity Auction Rules
Here’s what you need to do and here are the charity auction rules that apply to make the process as fair and open as possible. Please read all of these rules carefully before you submit an auction bid and make sure that you understand them.
1. For legal reasons, this charity auction is only open to bidders who are aged at least 18 years old (and who are able to form legally binding contracts).
2. Only one "best and final" bid per person for one pair of tickets for one of the nights is allowed. The night requested must be specified on the bid.
3. Your "best and final" bid must be sent by email to the dedicated email address that has been set up: musetickets@thehelenfoundation.org.uk and must be received by the deadline set out below.
4. IMPORTANT BID CONTENTS NOTICE: In your email bid, you must provide ALL of the following information:
(a) FIRST NAME(S):
(b) SURNAME:
(c) TOTAL AMOUNT OF YOUR BID (GBP £):
(d) DATE OF BIRTH (DD/MM/YYYY):
(e) HOME ADDRESS IN FULL:
(f) POSTCODE:
(g) EMAIL ADDRESS:
(h) CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER:
(i) NIGHT FOR TICKETS (FRIDAY OR SATURDAY):
(j) CONFIRMATION: “I confirm that, in the event of me winning one of the prizes in the charity auction, I will arrange to pick up my tickets from Teign Music during its normal opening hours prior to the relevant Muse show and will make payment in full of the bid amount set out above by cash or debit card.”
(k) ACCEPTANCE: “I confirm and accept that in sending this email and submitting this bid that I agree to comply with all the terms and conditions of the charity auction.”
If you can, please feel free to cut and paste the above 11 bid contents requirements - points (a) to (k) - into the body of your email bid to make things easy!
5. Bidders, by entering this charity auction, are agreeing (and will be deemed to have agreed) that they cannot and will not:
(a) enter this charity auction unless they are aged at least 18 years old (and are able to form legally binding contracts);
(b) commit to buy the tickets without paying for them;
(c) bid with no serious intention of buying (due to the unique nature of the prize involved, insincere bidding is not permitted); and
(d) bid for the tickets unless they meet the organisers' terms as outlined, or bid or buy with the intention of disrupting the auction process.
6. IMPORTANT DEADLINE NOTICE: Bidding closes at 11.59 pm (midnight) GMT on Monday 31st August 2009. Any bids received after that time will be rejected.
7. Owing to the volume of bids expected, bids will not be individually acknowledged and the auction organisers will not enter into any correspondence or contact with bidders, other than as set out below in relation to notification to the successful bidders and winners of the tickets. No liability or responsibility will be accepted for any bids which are not received by the auction organisers.
8. The winners will be the eight highest bids for each of the two nights.
9. All proceeds from the charity auction will to go to The Helen Foundation, which is a registered charity in the UK.
10. Winners will be identified and notified by phonecall and email by 8.00 pm GMT on Tuesday 1st September 2009, using the contact details they have provided. Bidders must ensure that they provide valid contact details so that they can be contacted in the event that they are successful. Accordingly, if a successful bidder does not acknowledge such phonecall or email messages from the auction organisers within 24 hours, by 8.00 pm GMT on Wednesday 2nd September 2009, then the auction organisers reserve the right to contact the next highest bidder in the charity auction and to offer the pair of tickets to them instead.
11. Tickets must be collected in person from Teign Music, 5 Carlton Place, Teignmouth, Devon TQ14 8AB on Wednesday 2nd September, Thursday 3rd September, Friday 4th September during shop opening hours (10.00 am to 5.00 pm) or on Saturday 5th September during shop opening hours (10.00 am to 1.00 pm).
12. IMPORTANT TICKET COLLECTION NOTICE: When collecting tickets from Teign Music, winners must bring photo ID with the same name, date of birth and address as on their bid email – e.g. passport, photocard driving licence, student card etc. Tickets are to be paid for at Teign Music in full by cash or by debit card. Proposed payment by any other method (e.g. cheques, postal order, credit card, etc.) will not be accepted.
13. Failure to fully comply with the charity auction instructions set out above will automatically result in the bid being rejected.
14. The decision of the auction organisers (Muse and the Trustees of The Helen Foundation) is final and will be made in good faith.
15. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Any tickets not picked up by Teign Music's close of business at 5.00 pm on Friday 4th September (for the Friday night show) or by Teign Music's close of business at 1.00 pm on Saturday 5th September (for the Saturday night show) will be forfeited.
